Starting Monday, September 15, 2025, our Wewahitchka office will be located in a temporary location (637 Highway 22) while our new headquarters office is constructed. We look forward to continuing to serve you during this transition. Thank you for your patience and support as we build a new, improved space...

In order to apply for service with Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative, the applicant will need to provide:
If you are already a member of the Cooperative and need to connect a new service, you will need to print, complete, and submit to the Cooperative a Utility Service Application.
If you need to establish membership with the Cooperative and connect a new service, then you will need to print, complete, and submit the Application for Membership and Utility Services.
If you are transferring an active account into your name, the Cooperative requires a copy of a valid driver’s license for the applicant, as well as the applicant’s social security number. You will also have to complete a Utility Service Application if you are already a member of the Cooperative, or an Application for Membership and Utility Services if you are not a member of the Cooperative.
This can be done at any office location or over the phone. If requested over the phone, we will need to ask the member several questions to verify their account. Upon verification, we will disconnect service on your desired date. Lastly, we will need to have a forwarding address for your final billing statement, deposit refunds, and future capital credit refunds.
